APPARENT LIGHT.

Apparent Light illuminates public space with bold ideas and NEW perspectives.

JuLY 2027

Apparent Light is a site-responsive installation of projection and light-based art, illuminating Peregian Beach Village over two evenings.

From dusk, familiar spaces transform—walls become canvases, alleyways glow with ideas and light reveals what often goes unseen.

This after-dark ‘happening’ brings artists, communities and place together through the transformative power of art after dark.

MORE :

Apparent Light is a curated contemporary art activation currently in development. Supported by the Noosa Regional Arts Development Fund and Arts QLD Regional Community Arts Fund it will feature the work of 12 artists from across Queensland and beyond. This event positions light as a radical act of attention, exploring presence, resistance and resonance — honouring the impermanent, the felt and the fluid.

Working across built, natural and in-between spaces, Apparent Light activates public space with poetic projection and glowing installations and ephemeral gestures of illumination,

Apparent light will present artists who work at the edges — interdisciplinary, experimental, community-engaged or deeply personal. The program foregrounds regional voices, collaborative practice and works that engage audiences not purely as spectators, but as witnesses.

Apparent Light is coming soon.
